Hilary Wood (PMVE)
Hilary focuses on services to advise Energy Performance Contact end-users, as well as leading on EEVS’ training courses, internal standards and operations.
As one of the first cohort of professionals in the UK to qualify as a CMVP in 2009, Hilary is an expert in the field of Measurement & Verification; writing the MVA Manual for DECC’s Electricity Demand Reduction Pilot, developing technical schedules for Scottish Government’s Non-Domestic Energy Efficiency framework and providing training for clients across all sectors, including courses leading to professional qualifications in M&V. She currently leads our performance assurance services to Lloyds Banking Group, to audit the energy reductions achieved through their estate-wide ‘Total FM’ project with Mitie.
Hilary has certified as a Performance Measurement & Verification Expert (PMVE) - a new advanced M&V qualification now being offered by EVO, the owners of IPMVP - and she is one of a handful of people in the world qualified to deliver PMVE training.
Hilary has an academic background in engineering, her previous experience also includes the development of geothermal power and solid oxide fuel cells for sustainable energy generation applications.
